Christchurch Men’s Prison
Project Scope
The Project includes the design and construction of Phase 1 and Phase 2 facilities, financing of the Project, the provision of AM/FM services for the New CMP Facilities, and the hand back of the Project to Corrections at the end of the Contract Term.
What we did
- Bid Coordination and Graphic Design
- Engaged at Pacific Partnerships, we were contracted to support the Expression of Interest (EOI) submission through bid coordination and graphic design services.
- Coordinating and compiling content, proofreading, formatting, designing a logo and brand identity, creating supporting graphics and visual elements, and ensuring the final EOI was professionally presented and submitted on time.
Challenges
Managed coordination across multiple large companies and subject matter experts (SMEs), requiring ongoing alignment and clear communication. Navigated technical issues using SharePoint, where document formatting would regularly break when accessed by different users.
Developed a brand identity without a confirmed name, with the final name only received a week and a half before submission—prompting a full rebrand under tight timeframes. Worked through multiple layers of sign-off, last-minute content changes, and font compatibility issues when the client downloaded the final document, requiring quick troubleshooting to ensure quality and consistency were maintained.
Overall Outcomes
Successfully compiled, edited, formatted, and submitted the tender ahead of deadline, managing multiple last-minute revisions with efficiency and attention to detail.
Designed a bespoke logo and cohesive brand with a complementary colour palette that was applied consistently throughout the document. Coordinated input and approvals from all parties involved, maintaining clear communication and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure to ensure final sign-off was achieved on time.
