LANDY Strengthens Industry Impact Through Partnership with Future Lady Tradies

Sep 9, 2025

LANDY Group Director, Josh Yates, has joined the advisory board of Future Lady Tradies, strengthening LANDY’s commitment to supporting women across Australia’s construction and trades sectors.

Future Lady Tradies is a national organisation focused on increasing the participation and retention of women in trade careers. Their programs provide mentoring, support networks, apprenticeship guidance and industry-wide advocacy aimed at improving opportunities for female tradies.

For LANDY, the partnership aligns with the company’s long-standing focus on building an inclusive workforce. With 50% of LANDY’s employees being women, the business already demonstrates what a gender-balanced construction workplace can look like. Josh’s involvement will help extend that impact beyond LANDY and into the broader industry.

Josh said his decision to join the advisory board reflects LANDY’s belief that diverse teams create stronger project outcomes and healthier workplace culture. His industry experience will support Future Lady Tradies in shaping initiatives that better connect women with real opportunities on major infrastructure and construction projects.

The collaboration is also a strategic step toward addressing the skills shortages affecting the construction sector. Attracting more women into trades is essential for meeting Australia’s increasing demand for talent, and LANDY aims to help lead that shift through active participation, advocacy and example.

As LANDY continues to grow its national footprint, the company remains focused on championing a more inclusive future for construction –[ one where women are visible, supported and valued across every level of the industry.
