LANDY Group Volunteers for Gold Coast Hospital Foundation Giving Day

Jun 8, 2026

This year, the LANDY Group team did something a little different with their lunch breaks.

On Giving Day 2026, our team volunteered on the phones for the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation – one of the Gold Coast’s most important local charities – helping connect donors with a cause that directly supports patients and families across our community.

It is the kind of initiative that sits naturally alongside who we are at LANDY Group. We build, develop, and advise in communities. Supporting an organisation that quietly holds those same communities together felt like an easy yes.

Why the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation Giving Day Matters

The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation raises funds for vital medical equipment, health research, and the continued education of local health staff, to ensure every Gold Coaster has access to the best possible health care. The Foundation supports Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, and all 35 Gold Coast Health community health facilities.

Giving Day is the Foundation’s annual fundraising event, bringing the community together to raise funds for local Gold Coasters facing health challenges – funding medical equipment, life-saving research, and crucial support services including cancer patient transport and emergency accommodation.

The scale of the effort is significant. A previous Giving Day raised over $230,000 in just 12 hours, supported by 120 volunteers. Every dollar raised stays local and goes directly to patients in need.

How the LANDY Group Got Involved

Our team volunteered on the Foundation’s donation phone lines on the day, supporting the push to connect generous donors with the cause. It is a simple but meaningful way to contribute – and a reminder that community impact does not always require a large budget, just a willingness to show up.

LANDY Group and Community

LANDY Group operates across advisory, developments, and commercial work throughout Queensland. Our team is based in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, and the communities we work in matter to us beyond the projects we deliver.

Participating in Giving Day reflects something we genuinely believe: that businesses have a role to play in supporting the places and people they work alongside. Giving up a lunch break is a small thing. For the families on the receiving end of Foundation-funded equipment and services, the difference is anything but.
