What we did
With 40% of the tender evaluation weighted to non-price criteria, Josh’s genuine local relationships and strategy optimisation guided the development of a Local Benefits and Social Outcomes project management plan aligned with the Logan region. This approach ensured the mitigation of challenges, such as removing barriers to participation in the project’s construction delivery for the local and Indigenous supply chain and workforce.
Overall Outcomes
In March 2025, ActivUs secured the design and pre-construction contract for the LGC Rail package – a 20km corridor upgrade including track duplication, station modernisation, and level crossing removals. With 40% of the tender evaluation weighted to non-price criteria, Josh’s genuine local relationships and participation optimisation strategy, drove the development of a bespoke Local Benefits and Social Outcomes project management plan aligned with the Logan region ensuring the mitigation of challenges such as removing barriers to participate in the construction delivery of the project for the local and Indigenous supply chain and workforce. The client TMR communicated it was critical to the evaluation of both tendering proponents, and was a significant contributing factor which led to ActivUs’ bid success in securing contract award of the LGC Rail Package Project.
